ExplainValue.ai ("Service") is operated by ExplainValue LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Not Investment Advice

The Service is for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or an offer to provide investment advisory services. We are not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planner.

Valuation estimates, fair value calculations, methodology narratives, and AI-generated explanations are analytical tools intended to help you understand valuation concepts. They should not be the sole basis for any investment decision. Always consult a qualified financial professional before making investment decisions.

3. Accounts and Access

You must create an account via Google OAuth to access paid features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You may not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.

We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email before any price change takes effect.

5. Accuracy and Limitations

Valuation data is generated by automated models using publicly available financial data, third-party data providers, and analyst assumptions. While we strive for accuracy:

• Data may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors
• Models use assumptions that may not reflect current market conditions
• Fair value estimates are point-in-time calculations, not predictions
• AI-generated explanations may occasionally be imprecise

We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information provided.

6. Intellectual Property

The valuation methodologies, software, content, and design of the Service are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without written permission.

You may use the analysis for your personal, non-commercial investment research. You may not resell, redistribute, or publish our analysis as your own.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExplainValue LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or investment losses, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
